THE ROLE- Henderson Sunset Rd/ Green Valley Parkway

The food prep position is a perfect opportunity for a person who loves to work with food in a consistently quiet environment. This position entails a lot of room to work at a sustainable pace, focused on tasks with oversight from the commissary manager. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
• Must be available to work either early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.

TRAINING 

• Elevate your culinary expertise through our comprehensive 240-hour corporate food preparation training program. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our expectations of the right candidate include: 

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies and procedures
• Inspect the cleanliness and organization of the line and workstations; rectify any deficiencies. Maintain throughout the shift
• Organize all the various prep items needed from different areas to ensure that all items are in place and ready for service
• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides, according to department standards
• Assist in monitoring inventory of prepared food items to keep waste down while managing 86’s
• Minimize waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted food cost
• Transport empty, dirty pots and pans to the pot wash station
• Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations (where applicable)
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas for during your shift and for the next shift.
• Availability of a minimum of 20-24 hours per week. Sunday-Tuesday. 10am-4pm.
