About the Role: Manager, Photography
The Photo Art Director leads all photography for the Fair Harbor brand, reporting directly to the Chief Creative Officer. The Manager, Photography must be able to partner effectively with photography, styling, production, post-production, merchandising and marketing teams to create industry-leading imagery. This person is responsible for defining the brands photographic style across all marketing and executing all brand photo shoots. Additionally, this person will oversee all ecommerce and still life photography. This person will be a key member of our in-house creative team, and should have an outstanding aesthetic, an eye for detail, and a network of photographers/stylists.

As The Photo Art Director, You Will
* Partner with Chief Creative Officer to conceive seasonal campaigns
* Concept all photography from start to finish. Plan and execute all photo shoots. Lead castings. Suggest locations. Identify and hire key talent (photographers, stylists, etc.) Provide direction on-set, ensuring execution aligns to concepts and messaging. Oversee finishing of all assets (post-production) that aligns with Fair Harbor brand guidelines.
* Manage on set crews in-studio and on location campaign shoots
* Manage budget for all shoots, ensuring spends are efficient and track to forecast
* Inspire and motivate the team. The photo team has a high output of creative imagery, and the art director must be able to lead the team to produce fresh, compelling images.
* Be hands-on and highly creative when concepting editorial imagery. The right candidate will be resourceful, inspired, and consistently generate fresh ideas, and demonstrate highly creative problem-solving
* Ensuring quality control with retouching - editorial photography must be consistent and fall within established guidelines
This position requires seasoned on-set editorial shoot experience, and the ability to lead a photo set efficiently and effectively. The Manager, Photography works under the supervision of the Chief Creative Officer and must be able to partner effectively with photography, styling, production, post-production, merchandising and marketing teams to create industry-leading imagery.

You Also Have
* Bachelor's Degree required
* Based in the New York City metro area
* 5+ years of experience in art directing fashion photo shoots
* Experience concepting for a variety of digital platforms, including video, social media, and motion
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
* Commanding knowledge of fashion industry and pop culture trends and deep library of aesthetic references
