Hedgeman Law Firm, with offices in Albany, NY, and Washington, DC, serves as General Counsel to small businesses, nonprofits, public authorities, IDAs, LDCs, and municipalities. The firm also represents commercial and residential real estate developers and contractors, providing comprehensive legal services tailored to each client’s needs.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various marketing initiatives and campaigns, contributing to both digital and traditional marketing efforts. This position is perfect for someone who is eager to learn and grow within the marketing field while assisting in the execution of effective advertising strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Sales and Sales & Marketing
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the legal industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field is preferred

Duties

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Support email marketing efforts by creating marketing lists by audience and assisting in direct mail campaign.
  • Prepare correspondence and marketing materials to existing and potential clients.
  • Assist in organizing and planning promotional events and managing logistics related events and marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Excellent copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail in written communications.
  • Draft Press releases and coordinate press events.
  • Event Planning experience required.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research to support marketing strategies effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week

Experience:

  • Marketing: 2 years (Required)
  • Event marketing: 2 years (Required)
