- *Job Description**
- *AECOM** is seeking an **Office Engineer - Highway & Bridge Projects** to be based in **Oakland, CA** .
- *Job Summary/Responsibilities**
- Office Engineer will be responsible for the documentation and processing of change orders, submittals, RFIs, NCRs, transmittals, and other transportation-related project documentation.
- Performs a variety of tasks in support of the engineering staff.
- Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications.
- General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Viewed as competent in all areas.
- May oversee work of junior-level technicians.
- *Qualifications**
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Check
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in Transportation Construction on large scale projects as Office Engineer
- Experience with other transportation-related project documentation such as documentation and processing of change orders, submittals, RFIs, NCRs, transmittals
- EIT is desired

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $62.50/hour - $86.50/hour.
