Roofing Estimator

$80,000 - $120,000 (Depending on Assessment) + Bonus

With a specialization in TPO, PVC, Built-up systems, and modified bitumen, they have further set themselves apart from the competition by manufacturing their own sheet metal flashings and other components. With a turnover of around $15,000,000 and focused growth plans, they predominantly operate in the re-roofing sector, accounting for 80% of their operations. Their project value can range anywhere from $50,000 to a significant $5,000,000.

For this Sales Estimator role, a deep familiarity with Tampa's building code regulations and client base is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services.
• Present estimates and conduct cost-benefit analyses for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and the competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Adjust and refine estimates, considering raw material costs, production times, and labor expenses.
• Track and report on any changes that can affect costs and recommend budget adjustments.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years in a commercial roofing estimator role.
• Familiarity with TPO, PVC, Built-up systems, and modified bitumen.
• In-depth knowledge of Tampa's building code regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant estimating software.
