Zermatt Utah Resort & Spa is hiring a full-time Spa Manager. The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the department to ensure Zermatt Utah standards are maintained by the staff. This position is also responsible for providing leadership to enhance employee engagement and guest satisfaction while creating an inspiring hospitality experience for associates, spa and hotel guests.
Responsibilities
* Provide the highest standard of guest service, creating a sensory journey for guests to relax and find balance and harmony.
* Coordinate schedules for front desk and pool attendant's contingent on business demands.
* Motivate the front desk and spa team to up-sell, cross-sell and pre-sell services and products by creating incentives with Spa Director to increase revenue sales.
* Assist with developing and executing the annual budget for the department.
* Assist with managing the Spa, Wellness Center and Pool(s).
* Responsible for coordinating and supervising spa and pool staff (massage therapists, estheticians, nail technicians, and attendants).
* Help book and manage reservations for Group bookings.
* Assist the Spa Director in researching, recommending and implementing new spa products, treatments and services.
* Perform any other duties as assigned by the Spa Director.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or the equivalent.
* Attainment of a current Utah Massage Therapy and/or Master Esthetician License is a plus but not required.
* Flexible schedule to including nights, weekends and holidays.
* Minimum 2 years spa experience working in a customer orientated environment.
* Responsible, dependable team player.
* Must be self-motivated and have strong organizational skills.
* Manages service providers schedules.
* Ordering product for professional services.
* Strong spa retail background.
* Able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
* Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
The Hotel functions seven days a week and 24-hours a day. All employees, both management and hourly, must realize, at times, it may be necessary to move an employee from their accustomed shift so support business demands.
